2014 Hyundai Sonata vs. 2013 Sonata in the Boston Area

Boston Area Hyundai Sonata
There are many new features and upgrades on the Hyundai Sonata for 2014, yet it still feels like a Sonata.

The new standard features shared by the GLS, SE, SE 2.0T and Limited models include a new refined grille design. The new grille is reminiscent of the 2013, keeping the same “Fluidic Design”.

Other changes are the inclusion of HID headlights, LED taillights, a slightly revised rear fascia, Driver Select able Steering Mode (DSSM), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and a tire-specific tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

To reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, (NVH), all Sonatas also get improved carpet materials, as well as more foam in the A and B pillars.

For 2014, the interior is more plush, but not so drastically different that you wouldn’t recognize it as a Sonata

Kudos to The Hyundai Design Team for improving upon an already very successful car. It has been enhanced- but not so dramatically that our returning Boston Area Hyundai Sonata owners won’t feel at home. (And those who purchased the 2013 model won’t feel like they’re driving an outdated model.)

Here at Mirak Hyundai we have good selection of 2013 models left and we have 2014 models. We invite you to come and compare for yourself. The 2013 models are at a great savings and in limited supply. Either way you can’t lose. The Sonata is a great car and we are confident that Hyundai will keep making improvements.
