Hyundai’s special “ Walking Dead” edition of its Tucson crossover has arrived at Mirak Hyundai in Arlington MA. Just a few miles from the states big city: Boston, MA.
“The Walking Dead Special Edition Tucson represents a chance for loyal fans to show their enthusiasm for the graphic novel series,” said Christine Jew, Tucson product planner, when the model debuted at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
This may seem hokey to some, especially if you are not a fan of the AMC hit TV series. The Tucson does offer a great overall value, so this may be for you even if you are not a fan of the show or care much for the survival kit. (Consider that a bonus to give to a friend or something.)
If you’re a fan of the show or interested in this Limited Edition Tucson, come and visit us and check it out.

Award-winning luxury sedan offers added refinement and a lowered base price Automakers don’t often add new features and refinements to one of their most popular models while at the same time lowering the price, but that is what Hyundai has done with the 2014 Hyundai Azera luxury sedan and it’s on sale now here at Mirak Hyundai in Arlington, Massachusetts, a Hyundai Dealer near Boston. Already a standout value in the entry-level luxury sedan segment, the Hyundai Azera 2014 MSRP is $31,000, a reduction of $1,250 from the previous model year, making it an even more remarkable value, especially considering its long list of standard features. A new six-inch color LCD audio display, rearview backup camera, full leather upholstery, heated front seats and LED accent headlamps are just a few of the standard features on the 2014 Hyundai Azera.
Powered by a sophisticated 3.3-liter Lambda II V6 engine with direct injection, the Azera V6 delivers a best-in-class 88.8 hp per liter, for a total of 293 hp and 255 lb/ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC manual shift control routes power to the front wheels and contributes to EPA-estimated 29 mpg highway fuel efficiency. In addition to being powerful and fuel efficient, the Azera is also quite svelte, weighing in at just 3,605 pounds. This priority on weight savings makes the Azera very agile and a joy to drive on winding back roads. Enhancing this motoring enjoyment is an enhanced steering and suspension system featuring Sachs Amplitude Selective Dampers (ASD), which provide better ride comfort with better road surface contact and control.
The Azera has a long and planted appearance accented by wraparound LED taillamps. A prominent front fascia with winged chrome grille and available High Intensity Discharge headlamps add sophistication, while standard 18-inch and available 19-inch wheels accentuate the sporting nature of the Azera. Inside the Azera there’s an elegant flow-through center console and instrument panel with available electroluminescent gauges. An available panoramic sunroof lets in abundant amounts of natural light, while a segment-exclusive power rear sunshade and manual rear side-window shades help block light when rear seat passengers need a break from the sun.
The Azera also boasts best-in-class front head and legroom, outperforming all competitors by more than an inch in front headroom (40.4 inches) and nearly two inches in front legroom (45.5 inches). Unlike many competitors, the Azera features leather upholstery as standard equipment, as well as 10-way driver and eight-way front passenger power seats. Azera Limited trims add ventilated front seating, with air circulating through the perforated leather seats to help keep you cool on even the hottest days. An available seat cushion extension and a memory system for the seat, steering wheel and side mirrors add comfort and convenience, while new driver blind-spot mirrors improve visibility and safety.
The Azera comes standard with a six-speaker audio system featuring Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, iPod/MP3 integration and a six-inch color LCD touch-screen with rearview camera. A 550-watt, 14-speaker Infinity Logic-7 Surround Sound premium audio system is standard on Azera Limited trims, as is a navigation system with an eight-inch touch-screen and 8GB of flash memory. Hyundai Blue Link ™ is an innovative telematics system that offers safety, service and infotainment in three different packages, depending on what services you require. Featuring everything from real-time vehicle diagnostics and turn-by-turn navigation to stolen vehicle recovery and remote door unlocking, Blue Link ™ can be an incredibly convenient asset.
The Hyundai Azera puts a priority on occupant safety, offering with a host of advanced features that include Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), which balances the Electronic Stability Control system and the Motor-Driven Electric Power Steering system. VSM detects the natural pull of the vehicle in wet conditions and can automatically apply steering input in the opposite direction of the pull to maintain control. Representing an advanced approach to the mainstream premium sedan, the 2014 Hyundai Azera offers a standout blend of performance, efficiency, style, luxury features and segment-leading roominess that make it an incredible value. To really appreciate the Azera you need to get behind the wheel of one, so schedule a test drive today.
As reported by Automotive News, Hyundai has topped rival automakers for the 1st time ever in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study. Not only that, but six of the ten vehicles in the Hyundai lineup ranked in the top three IQS positions by segment – with the 2014 Genesis, 2014 Elantra and 2014 Accent taking the #1 spot for their segments. Wow. We are Number One, and we’re very proud!
Hyundai now has the highest quality of any non-luxury brand. Better than Toyota, better than Honda, better than Nissan.

The 2015 Sonata will start at $21,150, which is $300 less than the starting price of the outgoing 2014 model. And the new Sonata is much-improved, with a new sculptured design, stiffer body, better ride and safety and technology features. For instance, it adds a seventh airbag to protect the driver’s knees in a crash.
The new Sonata will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or 2.0–liter turbo. A hybrid version of the 2015 will come later.
“Outstanding value has always been a cornerstone for Hyundai, and the 2015 Sonata continues that tradition,” says Norm Belzil, Sales Manager of Mirak Hyundai.
Hyundai’s plant in Alabama has already begun production of the new 2015 Hyundai Sonata, and it is due to start arriving here at Mirak by the end of the month.
Right now at Mirak Hyundai for the month of May we are having the Buy Back Event. Buy back what you might ask? Buy back your current vehicle as a trade! The programs are great and we have rates as low as 0% APR and rebates as high as $5,000. (On select models for those who qualify.)
Our Pre-Owned Department needs more inventory for the Spring and Summer markets. (We would rather pay you top dollar for your car instead of being the highest bidder at the action.)
For this month we will allow up to $500 over Kelly Blue Book Fair Trade value for your trade.
It just keeps geting better. The 2015 Genesis has just been awarded the highest safety rating by IIHS, making it one of the safest cars around. (Naturally, we’re pretty excited about this.)
